Megan Atkinson Doctor of Occupational Therapy
An occupational therapist by training and holistic health practitioner by nature, Megan is a lifelong learner committed to service. Megan is a collaborative and personable professional who integrates person-first practices into her work, many that are often overlooked in Big Healthcare, such as: coordinated care, health literacy, and the whole-person approach to health.
Megan’s work reaches beyond clinic and home through case management, patient advocacy, adult education and program design. Her skills were acquired through positions in academic administration as well as multiple healthcare settings ranging from acute to outpatient to home care.
By studying with renowned academic and professional leaders, and through her work with medically complex, socioeconomically disadvantaged, and marginalized or stigmatized populations, Megan has constructed a base of knowledge and experience to match her gifts of insight and intuition.
Megan brings warmth and openness to rehabilitation science, with the empathy and respect you deserve. Read what past clients have to say about working with Megan, here.
